Introductory Classes

For Children - 7+ yrs

• Sat 10th March – 1-3pm ~ Form Dawing ~ Celtic knots, running forms and mandalas… all levels of ability… so enjoyable! and… helps to develop appreciation of balance, form and colour. Look in the ‘Gallery’ for examples of form drawings
• Sat 24th March – 1-3pm ~ Watercolour Painting ~ ‘Wet on Wet’ technique makes the colours easier to move, blend and play with!  Stories woven into the fabric of the sessions. For budding young artists – thats all children!??
• Sat 31st March – 1-3pm ~ Form Drawing and Movement ~ This class serves to help your child to find balance, coordination and interaction between hemispheres. By developing balance, spatial awareness and hand eye coordination learning at school can often become easier. This class is specifically created to help children with special educational needs but is open to all children because balance and sensory integration can always be developed.
• 3rd/4th/5th April – 1-3.30pm ~ Easter Holiday Art sessions ~ Waldorf Arts including – painting, drawing and Easter craft activities.

Waldorf arts are enjoyed by so many Steiner pupils accross the globe… I think it  only fair that these wonderful artistic mediums are more widely available; they are a truly balancing and delightful experience. Places are limited so please contact me with questions you have and to book your chids place.

For Adults – What a treat!!

• Friday 30th March – 6.30- 9pm ~ Waldorf Taster Art Class ~  painting, drawing and form drawing.  A chance to play with the different techniques and explore some Steiner theory.
• Thursdays 9th Feb – 15th March - 10-12pm ~ Wet on Wet’ Painting ~ course exploring qualities of colour  at Piccadilly Gardens, Scotforth..

All introductory classes are £10 per session and places must be booked in advance.
